Catch Your Breath Sells Out Their Charlotte, NC Stop of The Broken Souls Tour!

Sold out are words artists love to see when they have tours and that's exactly what Catch Your Breath got for their stop in Charlotte, NC. Bringing along their friends in Archers, The Funeral Portrait, and If Not For Me The Broken Souls tour was set to be an unforgettable night.
With the line of fans wrapped around the venue, anticipation for the night was at an all-time high. Once those doors opened people started filing in and finding the perfect vantage point to capture the best view of the show. It wasn't long before we got exactly what we knew was coming and it all kicked off with If Not For Me!
If Not For Me

Lights dimmed and the crowd roared with excitement. If Not For Me took the stage with a fierce momentum that was the perfect start to the evening. Playing popular hits "Blameless" and "Feel Me Now" had the fans head-banging along. The melodic hooks combined with the gut-punching heaviness match flawlessly with the vocals of the frontman, Patrick, as he seamlessly flows between his clean melodies and throat-shredding screams. Not only does this band have a masterful sound, but they also pair that with a formidable stage presence. The interaction with the audience was genuine and felt extremely organic. The set was a great way to start the night and had the crowd ready for even more!
The Funeral Portrait

Riding the high from If Not For Me, The Funeral Portrait took the venue to a whole other level of rocking out. Definitely not your normal rock band, but The Funeral Portrait will have you leaving the show trying to figure out how to summon the rock gods so you never have to forget the night you saw them play live. Their entire set was not only musically appealing; but mixed in a theatrical element like no other. There was theatrics, drama, emotions, and high energy to match those high kicks from Lee Jennings. With the insanely relatable lyrics that speak on topics like OCD, and the amount of love they have for, not only their music; but also for the fans shines through in every song during the set and forms a connection with the crowd that was striking to watch happen. As their set came to an end you just knew the fans never wanted them to leave the stage. The bar was set to an incredible high, but the night was only halfway done. There was still more to come!
Archers

The tone of the night had been set by If Not For Me and The Funeral Portrait, and Archers wasted no time keeping that alive as they hit the stage. Knowing how to work a stage, these guys were nonstop rocking out. With a slightly different approach to metalcore, the band blends aggression with heart-on-your-sleeve lyrics. They have a magic way of making everything they do on stage look effortless while enticing the crowd all at the same time. The raw emotion felt by band members vibrated out to the fans until the whole venue was in tune together as they watched the set. Mixing in some slower-paced songs allowed the moshers and crowd surfers just a minute to soak in the emotion with the rest of the crowd, before headbanging back into the mosh pits. The end of their set came way too fast and made sure the crowd was ready for the final part of the night!
Catch Your Breath

The lights went out and the build-up from the other bands had the fans ready for this moment. The crowd went momentarily silent as we waited for Catch Your Breath to take the stage. Member by member walked out and the screams grew louder and louder with each one. The energy was there from the moment the first note was played. Hit after hit was played including favorites like "21 Gun Salute" and the audience was hanging on to every word, while singing it straight back to the band. Lead singer Josh Mowery's live vocals capture your attention and his interaction keeps you focused. The unique mix of melodic vocals with heavy riffs and powerful drums makes for a powerhouse set that keeps the fans headbanging from the first start to the end of the set. There are still a handful of dates left on the tour and with most of them selling out completely make sure you get yourself a ticket and make it out to catch this breathtaking show.
