Hinder's Back To Life Tour Stops By House Of Blues In Myrtle Beach SC

The gas tank was full, the windows were down, and the radio was turned up loud. This was the start of my road trip to South Carolina to see Hinder perform to a packed-out crowd at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. It has been 3 years since I've seen Hinder live and I was anticipating one hell of a night seeing as Saliva was also on the tour. Unfortunately, Kingdom Collapse had some tour bus issues and was unable to be at the Myrtle Beach show; however, the fans were thrilled for the night as they wrapped around the building to wait for doors to open!
Saliva

Since Kingdom Collapse was stuck back in Cleveland, Saliva was first up for the night. The crowd was enthusiastic as the house music slowly came to a stop and the lights were beginning to dim. Each member made their way to the stage as the first notes of "Superstar" started and immediately we were launched into a full rock show when the drums crashed in. The band played a range of their classic songs and mixed in new music as well. Even throwing in a fun cover of Eminem's "Lose Yourself". The fans were treated to a special guest when vocalist, Bobby Amaru's, daughter came on stage to sing along with her dad! You could tell how sweet the moment was as they sang beside each other. Closing out their set with the all-time favorite "Click Click Boom" the voluminous sound from the crowd could be heard throughout the entire venue as fans rocked out just as hard as the band members. A lucky teen was even able to show just how much he was enjoying the show as he got to throw his horns up and head bang next to Bobby on stage. It was exactly the monumental moment to close out their set and get the crowd hyped and ready for the rest of the night.
Hinder

Hinder graced the stage in a blaze, opening up their set with "Get Stoned". One of my favorite things about seeing Hinder live is that you are not only going to get those high-energy, bang-your-head, rock songs; but you're also going to get poignant ballads sprinkled in and the switch between is always seamless. The set was also a mixture of old and new songs with Hinder playing newer songs such as "Everything Is A Cult", but still giving the crowd the songs they can't live without, like "Lips Of An Angel" and "Without You". Signer, Marshal Dutton, has a special ability to make a lasting connection with fans, by cracking jokes, telling some of his favorite memories, and even taking a fan's phone to film himself onstage. It's those moments that will live within the memories of fans and the connection will bring them back to see show after show after show. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of dates left on this tour; however, keep those eyes peeled because Hinder is far from done touring, and seeing this band live is an event that should be added to every rock fan's bucket list!
